The hotel location was adequate as it was right on a beach. the sand was not very clean, and it was packed with people, making it hard to relax. Despite being situated in a quiet neighborhood, the outside noise and music from nearby venues made it hard to sleep at night. the room was small and the bathroom wasn't up to mark. the breakfast was average with limited options. the staff was not very accommodating or friendly.
The Wi-Fi connection was excessively slow in the common areas of the hotel.

I liked that the Pousada was right on the beach. Just step outside the door and you're on the beach! The unfortunate part is that the beach itself was not stellar. it had quite a bit of trash on it (not the pousada's fault, of course) and although there were umbrellas and chairs - they belonged to the little portable cafes so they weren't really beach/relaxing chairs. There's a business for someone! These sort of rentals were available in Barra on the beach and we were hoping they'd be rentable here as well. We also loved that wifi was free, there were lots of books available for browsing, a relaxing pool and friendly staff. The owner also serves as the taxi driver for airport runs (or at least he did for us!).
Unfortunately, our foreign visa card didn't work so we ended up paying cash. it was lucky we had it on us! although they were willing to help us out by finding an ATM. I think this is a common issue in Brazil - so it really wasn't the fault of the Pousada - just a warning of sorts.

Its a family run , private home , ina unknown location , far , far from city, takes two hours ( no exagerration two hours ) by bus to city of Solvador. The beach behind the hotel is dirty , dangerous , not suitable for tourists.Certainly not recommented. The house keepers are nice and helpful but what can they do . It is simply not a place for tourists to stay.Guest who cannot speka Portugese should avoid such locations.

Stayed here on my business trip and overall quite satisfied with the stay. Beach location was great, perfect for a morning stroll before work. The pool was also a nice option for a quick dip. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Bonus points for the balcony view of the ocean and the friendly staff, who were always ready to help out with suggestions for nearby restaurants.
The lack of breakfast variety, but the basics were covered. The road leading to the hotel was a bit dodgy at night, so would definitely recommend taking a taxi if you plan to head out after dark.

We had a lovely time at a beachfront hotel. the location was perfect, just steps from the beach and a short walk to nearby shops and a bank. the spacious room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. We enjoyed the variety of tropical fruits available at breakfast and the friendly service from the staff. Plus, the solar powered shower was a nice touch and great for the environment.
We had an unpleasant experience when walking from the hotel to a nearby center in the evening. the area can be dangerous and we experienced a robbery.

This hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, directly on a beach that's not the typical Brazilian paradise image, but still offers a unique experience. I loved that it's a short walk from the Itapua center, allowing easy access to buses and the lively atmosphere of the area. The staff is very attentive and the basic amenities, like the rooms with a balcony and the lovely terrace, make for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the breakfast, which had a nice view of Salvador and was a great way to start the day.
Everything was great!
